Today is our last day in Bangladesh. We visited New Market in Dhaka to see
what the market is like. There are so many
colors and everything you can imagine is for sale here. From chicken
vendors to cheese
vendors to fried food
and fresh
food to dishes
to saris
to dresses and
other textiles. There are
fruit stands everywhere and you can even have your
hair cut. Outside the market there is
much life. There's
traffic like you've
never seen! The population has grown incredibly and the traffic is always
bad. Also there is trash everywhere. I was shocked at how
dirty everything
is...even rooftops!
